As in the following example, Kuan Yin's passages to explain specific teachings were often metaphoric in nature:
“It’s an urgent time for energies to evolve…The process is being sped up, an acceleration creating awe-inspiring changes affecting every aspect of life. There are a group of souls who are using this time to help propel them forward. This process can be compared to a ship catching the wind in a certain way. Those catching this wind will need to be skillful. And like a sailor’s knowledge and deep respect for the sea, these people will need to know when to turn the ship and when to let go. Adept in utilizing the winds of these times, they will have me as their sail.”

Maintaining, “You create your whole world from your thoughts” and “The universe will bring anything one wants”, Kuan Yin emphasizes that earth is the most important step in our evolution: where focused intent is the driving force behind all manifestation. Here we, as limitless, spiritual beings, can achieve manifestation in all of its complexities: where physical and non-physical elements become intertwined with the sacred thread of universal law. Indeed, it is from this earth perspective that we may sense and enhance the unique gifts dwelling within each of us:
“There is no place to hide. All are in this together. There is the collective planetary intention and personal responsibility to others…Like a seed, love will always be there. Because of free will, humans can accept or reject that love. We, who so much wish to have the love we send be received, have to remain somewhat detached.”-Kuan Yin
This work also describes many of Kuan Yin’s amazing transformations witnessed by Ms. Lees during trance: “I’m at the base of one of the redwood trees and I feel like Alice in Wonderland. My hands are holding effortlessly onto the end of Kuan Yin’s robe. I see the long train of her gown flowing down, down until it flows into a hole at the base of the redwood trunk. I’m aware it is another entrance, yet another doorway to consciousness. Now the train of her gown is flowing out of the hole and into the universe. Her train has made a heart around the planet Jupiter. It is very much like the Milky Way.”
Kuan Yin describes “a realistic life” in quantum terms: that we have already “lived all of our lives”! Defining personal experience as “juggling the dream and the world of dreams” the goddess proclaims that each of us has the ability to attract limitless realities. As we are “made of sound” and each reality has its own unique resonance, each reality/aspect can be regarded as mirroring one’s combined Authentic Resonance. Because of the transformational powers of the creative force, art and music offer potent modalities for instantly amplifying one’s most desired thoughts, emotions and vibration: “Focus on whatever positive trait you want to achieve, as you would focus on a musical note.”-Kuan Yin
She continues, proclaiming: “There is a dimension where the pure wealth of consciousness is a reality. It is a reality where everyone is loved, where everyone is fed and healthy. When one brings spirit into the human realm, it can spiritualize matter. Matter can then become lighter, (indeed liberated), not as dense as before”.
In any particular lifetime, the implications of the law of attraction are clear. Kuan Yin teaches that beliefs (or “made-up stories”) determine the experiences one will attract in this life or the next; that one reaps the consequences of the beliefs one sows: “The lesson on earth is acceptance of differences. Don’t forget you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you.”
Referring to Her Love and Forgiveness Principle; Kuan Yin states: “Loving kindness is the most powerful force in the universe…it is potent even when displayed during the so-called mundane tasks of daily existence. It’s so potent that if everyone could get into that ‘space’ for a minute or even less, everyone would blast into a ball of light!”
“Kuan Yin is showing me picture of a windsurfer skimming effortlessly along the ocean’s surface. Quite skilled, he is very focused on the elements around him. The windsurfer is concentrating on how to turn the sail. His question must always be, ‘what am I going to do with the wind that is blowing right now,’” states Lena.
“There are the waves and there is the wind, seen and unseen forces. Everyone has these same elements in their lives,the seen and unseen: karma and free will. The questionis, ‘how are you going to handle what you have?’ You areriding the karmic wave underneath and the wind can shift.everyone must take what they see and deal with that whichis unseen. Fall into the water!”

Detailing how focused intent can be effectively applied, Kuan Yin states: “Many don’t understand prayer. Prayer is sent out as strong intention and energy. I want you to get unstuck and send focused intent. Be detached with the results. Trust…Praying for others’ well-being is the most incredible thing a person can do…Some energies are not as potent. The only way to develop a potent energy is to spend an existence on the earth. There, one can develop a compassionate nature so that when passing on to other dimensions, one can be of help. When one leaves one’s earth body they will need to fully understand compassion to be helpful, effective.”
