…I would like you to know that there are many other people who also feel lonely…They perhaps feel that they are the only ones who feel like this...However we know that there are many people who feel this way…and in fact they are in good company…
…The world is characterized by a web of human interactions that makes everything possible…People go to work to produce goods and services…People visit shops to buy these products…The money comes from peoples’ jobs…who were trained by schools and colleges… that are run by people who receive a wage…who then buy more goods and services…and so on…
…Computer games…movies…TV programmes…internet sites…all are made by huge teams of people…All connecting and sharing information…Working together to provide amazing goods and services…And we all become a part of that network when we use the products or services…All contributing that little bit to make it all possible…
…With the internet…there has never been more opportunities for connecting with people…You can share ideas with people all across the world…and even arrange to meet in person…
…Even the air that we breathe is all interconnected…We all share the same air…that is recycled over and over again…We receive light and heat from the same sun…and we all share in the rain that falls…
…So if you think about it…you are probably more connected to other people than you first realised…And you can connect more if you choose to…
…When you are in company you now project yourself in a much more positive way…you smile and give good friendly eye contact…You are now open and friendly whenever it is appropriate...
…And because you are becoming friendlier…people will naturally warm to you…and they will want to get to know you more and more…
…The only way you can let them know you better is to open yourself up…and reveal your true self…Be proud of who you are…and accept people for who they are…And because you accept other people for who they are…they are far more likely to automatically accept you…creating a new cycle of acceptance and connection with others...
…You are now more interested in other people…and in turn they are more interested in you…With all the people that are in the world…it is not surprising that you will like some people…but not everyone…In a similar way…not everyone will like you…but there will be plenty of people that will…
…And I would like you to know that everyone feels lonely at times…But you're feeling less and less like that…You are feeling more and more connected…because you are much happier now and you want to share your happiness with others and brighten up their world…
…The world is an interesting place and you never know what's going to happen to you next…One moment you can feel lonely…then quite unexpectedly you may meet a special person who understands and appreciates you for the wonderful person that you are...
…So learn to appreciate that you are indeed well connected to this world…and you can choose to be even more connected by being friendly and confident…It may take some effort to be more confident and friendly…but the rewards for a happier life are well worth it…And after some effort…you will soon find that it becomes easier and easier to make friends and feel more connected…Being friendly will quickly become a habit…which you will enjoy more and more as time passes…Making you want to be more friendly…leading to you becoming even more well connected.
