…Now I would like you to think about the things that make you angry…all the things that make you feel angry…
…And as you think about things that make you feel angry, you may even begin to feel a little anger bubbling inside you…as you re-live the type of situations that make you feel angry…
…Notice where the sensations of anger are…Perhaps they are in your chest or stomach…or even in your head…Allow your unconscious mind to locate where the anger in within your body…
(PAUSE)
…How do these sensations feel?...Perhaps you feel hot or cold…or even both at the same time…Just quietly observe how these feelings of anger actually feel…

…Now I would like you to give your anger an image…choose a shape for your anger…and choose a colour…It can be any shape and colour you wish…There is no right and wrong…
(PAUSE)
…Now I would like you to clearly visualise the anger in all the parts of your body that you identified as containing anger…The anger may just be in one part of your body…or in may lie in a few parts of your body…See the anger as clearly as you can…
(PAUSE)
…In a moment I would like you to take a deep breath…and when you take a deep breath I would like you to visualise all the anger in your body being sucked up into your lungs…And when you have sucked up all the anger in your lungs…I would like you to then breath all out of these angry feelings…out into the air…gone forever…
…So ready…Take a deep breath and visualise all the anger in your body being sucked into your lungs…
…Now slowly breath out…visualising this anger leaving your body…out of your mouth…
…Notice the relief you feel…how much more deeper relaxed you now feel…as this anger is leaving your body…
…Lets try it again to make sure all the anger has been removed…
…Take in a deep breath…imagining all the anger in your body being sucked into your lungs…Now breath out all this anger into the air…gone forever…
…And you can do this again if you wish…
(PAUSE)
…Now I would like you to know that whenever you feel anger in any situation…you can simply take in a deep breath…suck all of this anger into your lungs…and breath it out into the air…gone from your body…
…You may now already notice that you feel somehow a calmer person…feeling calmer and more relaxed…With more peace of mind…and more clarity of thought...
…And because you can now think more clearly…you can see situations more clearly…and find solutions more easily...in a way that make EVERYBODY happy…
…You may already know that angry feelings hurt you as much, if not more, than anyone else…They cause you harm and distress…
…So you will become a much more calmer person in every way…since you want to be healthy and happy…You will be far more relaxed…and far more easy going…And because you are more relaxed and easier going…you will be healthier and happier...You now choose to stay calm in every situation that you can…
…And other people will soon notice a more calmer and relaxed you…And they may even comment on how much more calm and relaxed you appear…And you will feel proud and happy that people now consider you a calm and happy person…And you will notice that as a calm and happy person…people will warm to you far more…and life will seem so much easier…yet so much more fulfilling…
…Of course there may be times when something makes you feel angry…Just remember to take a deep breath and suck all the anger into your lungs…before gently blowing it out of your body…gone forever…leaving you able to deal with the situation in a calm and rational way.
